Sheldon, by Dave Kellett

He was an editorial cartoonist for the San Diego Union-Tribune, but he is best-known for creating the webcomics 'Sheldon' and 'Drive'. The first one, about a ten-year-old computer genius was launched in 1998, and the sci-fi feature 'Drive' was added as the Saturday companion piece in August 2009. Kellett is one of the few self-sufficient webcomic authors, and several collections of 'Sheldon' have been published.

Kellett is additionally a lecturer in cartooning for new media, and co-author of the Harvey-Award-nominated book 'How To Make Webcomics'.
